If http://meedownloads.blob.core.windows.net/ is not blocked by your network, Minecraft: Education Edition updates automatically when the user logs in. To prevent automatic updates on your device, follow these steps:

  1. From the Windows Taskbar, search for Task Scheduler.
  2. In the left menu of the Task Scheduler, select Task Scheduler Library.
  3. In the list that populates, right-click Minecraft Education Edition Automatic Updater and select Disable.
