GOAT Beta Feedback

We’re thrilled to announce that the long-awaited features of Minecraft 1.16 (Nether update) and 1.17 (Caves and Cliffs part 1) are coming to Minecraft: Education Edition! Check out these coming features and more in our GOAT Beta which is live today! 

There are many new features to try, including: 

• Structure block updates 
• Library updates 
• Photos can be items 
• New biomes such as the Basalt Deltas 
• Large updates to the Nether 
• New blocks, items and mobs, including goats! 
• 40-person multiplayer sessions

Beta Known issues:  

Coding: On rare occasions, while coding in Code Builder, the code may run out of order or skip steps. 

UNESCO Global Build Challenge: Unable to continue dialog with NPC near start and unable to leave the conversation.
